John W. Stevenson

Mr. Stevenson is the founding member of the firm and in practice since 1972. He graduated from Centre College in 1969 and received his JD from the University of Kentucky in 1972. Mr. Stevenson is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and Daviess County Bar Association. Mr. Stevenson served on the Board of Directors, Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company of Kentucky, Mr. Stevenson also served on House of Delegates, Board of Governors, Kentucky Ethics Committee, Ethics Hotline Committee, Past President and a Life Fellow with the Kentucky Bar Association. Nicholas W. Hetman

Mr. Hetman has been an attorney at the firm since 2016. He graduated from Emory & Henry College in 1971 and received his JD (Phi Alpha Delta) in The University of Tennessee School of Law in 1977. Mr. Hetman is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before U.S. Supreme Court, Western District of Kentucky, 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Mr. Hetman currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and on the Military Law Committee for the Kentucky Bar Association. Matthew C. Tierney

Mr. Tierney joined the firm in 2008 and has been a partner of the firm since 2012. He graduated from Centre College in 2003 and received his JD (cum laude) from the Western Michigan/Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2008. Mr. Tierney is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Daviess County Bar Association and American Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Western District of Kentucky. Mr. Tierney currently serves on the Attorneys’ Advertising Commission with the Kentucky Bar Association, is legal counsel for the Greater Owensboro Realtors Association, and is the current Daviess County Master Commissioner.
